UNSC

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations (UN). Its main objective is to ensure international peace and security. It has the primary responsibility for identifying threats to global peace, resolving conflicts, and recommending actions, including the use of sanctions or military force, to address situations that endanger international stability.

The increasing reliance on interconnected critical infrastructure systems exposes vulnerabilities to cyber threats. These attacks can disrupt vital services, compromise national security, and have global implications. Discussing and countering these threats within the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is vital for international stability, requiring collaboration to establish norms, regulations, and strategies to safeguard critical systems.
